What’s happening in Washington, Morton and Germantown Hills/Metamora

 

 

Let’s check in on things in Washington….sales in Washington ended up 26.3% at the end of 2015 compared to 2014 as a whole. Kuddo’s to Washington on continuing to bounce back after everything they had to overcome after the tornado. New homes coming on the market in 2015 were also up, about 14.3% compared to 2014. The average sales price went from $191K in 2014 to $187K in 2015 and the average days on market was up about 35%, from 57 days to 77 days.

In Morton, the activity was up also there. New homes coming on the market were up 4.1%, sales were up 11.4% and the average selling price was off a little, about 1.3%, from $206K to $203K.  The average days on market was up about 27.3% from 54 days to 69 days.

In Germantown Hills new listings were up 2.9%, sales were down 5.6% (which only represents 68 sales in 2015 vs. 72 sales in 2014), and the average selling price was off 2%, down to $250K. The average days on market went down 11.5%, from 78 days to 69 days.

In Metamora, which is just outside of Germantown Hills (and they share the same high school), new listings were up 1.3%, home sales were up a whopping 26.3%, from 95 sales in 2014 to 120 sales in 2015. The average selling price was up .6%, from $193K to $194K. Days on market was up just a little also, from 67 days to 69 days in 2015.
